Early Journey

Aura Infused Art was born from love, loss, and the sacred act of creation. My journey with art began in the midst of deep personal trauma and heartbreak – a time when the world felt unsafe and my heart felt shattered. Creating art became my lifeline, a way to process pain, reclaim my power, and reconnect with myself and Spirit. Over the years, I filled more than 100 canvases and several sketchbooks, exploring my emotions, energy, and imagination.

Parent’s Paintings

My father’s painting came to me during a meditation. I found myself standing beside him at the lake behind our home – he baited my hook, and we fished together in peaceful silence. When I returned from that vision, I knew I had to capture it on canvas. That piece became a bridge between worlds, a way to process and heal the grief I carried from losing him. 

 My Mother’s piece began as a tribute to Gaia, Mother Earth. The central figure represents her, and the swirling forms connect the earth to the clouds above. But as I worked, my mother’s presence kept coming into my mind, and the painting became much more than a homage to the planet – it became a tribute to her spirit. I depicted her as the Triple Moon Goddess, infused her ashes throughout the painting, and wove her essence into the cosmos she now calls home. Like my father’s, this work has a way of transforming grief into love, honoring her memory while channeling energy into something sacred.

Tobie and Callie – Raw Grief

After completing my parent’s paintings, I turned to my beloved pets, Tobie and Callie. Unlike the earlier works, this piece was created in raw unfiltered grief.  Every brushstroke carried the ache of loss, the weight of sorrow, and the desperate need to hold onto their presence. Through this process, I embraced the full reality of the unseen – the doorway that had been opened by my parent’s paintings. Tobie and Callie’s painting became a profound act of healing in the moment, showing me that art could not only capture love but also transform immediate, raw grief into connection.

Foundation of Aura Infused Art

These early memorial and pet paintings became the foundation of Aura Infused Art – the heart of everything that I create.  Each piece carries the same intention: to honor, connect, channel energy, and bring comfort, healing, and peace to those walking their own paths of remembrance and rebirth.
